The crippled Airbus A320 sat atop a barge near Battery Park City in Manhattan, since being hoisted out of the river by a crane around 10:25 p.m. Saturday. The plane was then moved to Weeks Marina in New Jersey for further investigation after the fuel was drained from the plane’s wings.

The jet became Manhattan’s newest tourist attraction as tourists and locals converged on an area near Warren Street to snap photographs and marvel that all of the 155 passengers and crew on board survived.
