After graduating from Fennville High School in 1952, spent 3 yrs. In nurses training, graduated Sept.1955. Went to work at Allegan General Hospital in Oct. 55. Worked there until 1962. Went to work at Blood Brothers, later known as Rockwell International, in Allegan, worked 26 years, until 1988 when the plant closed and my job eliminated. Took early retirement in April 1989. Had a chance to go to Italy in 1981. Was in Rome, Assisi, Florence. Was in Rome the week of Easter and attended services in St. Peter's Square. This was a couple of weeks before the Pope was shot. |
