After graduating from Fennville High School in 1952, I attended Allegan County Normal to become a grade school teacher. Taught school 2 years in a country one-room school. Went to Western to take courses to continue to teach but, decided teaching wasn't for me so I quit and went to work in a factory. Met and married Bill Willingham in May of '56. In May I will have been married for 46 years. Have 3 children. 2 boys 1 girl. Have 11 grandchildren, 4 have graduated from Fennville, one attended but dropped out, and I have one that will graduate next year. 2 granddaughters are attending college. I also have 4 great-grandkids. |
