Beverly "Stehle" Carlson

After graduating from Fennville High School in 1952,
I worked in the payroll department at Michigan Fruit Canners for a short time. Roger and I were married in January 1953 when he came home from Korea.

We have a son, Richard who lives in Thomasville, GA and a daughter, Terrie. She and her husband John live in Fennville.

I was a stay at home Mom unti1 1960. Then I was hired at the Fennville Public Schools. I worked in the Superintendent's Office and was in charge of payroll and personnel for 35 years.

We have two granddaughters (Regan and Jimilee), one grandson (Josh) and two great granddaughters (Allison and Kambria.).

Roger had an aortic valve replacement in his heart at Cleveland Clinic -Ohio in 1969.  Surgery was a success. He has no problems, just routine checks. I had breast cancer surgery in 1987 and had total knee replacements on both knees - one in 2000 and the other in 2001. I am doing o.k.

We built a new home on Hutchins Lake in 1999. We love the view and we are enjoying retirement.
